The applications of gratings show almost no limits. The GI-RO Technik range of accessories offers you the possibility to find for every application the appropriate accessory.
Walkways inclined from 6° to 10° should be provided with serrated gratings, serration class R11. At an angle of incline between 10° and 24° for example at conveyor belts or at cable railways anti-slip strips provided over the whole width of the stairtread have to be used taking into consideration the step depending on the decline.

Does the distance between the grating and the support exceed more than 30 mm a kick flat is necessary. According to the standard DIN 24533 the kick flat should be at least 50 mm higher than the grating contact surface
