Two examples for the innovation efforts at GI-RO: On the one hand special gratings canted at 45° as well as on the other hand the special safety device for the dismantling of the storage floors.
| 45° special profileAn important factor for using gratings in the sector of storage is the load capacity. Weak points that can have negative influence on the load capacity are often the support points at the outer edge of the grating. Therefore

Therefore GI-RO developed a special profile canted at 45° that is welded to the bearing bars. Due to the firm connection between each bearing bar and the special profile the result is a grating withstanding extreme loads. The 45° special profile is hooked in between two longitudinal-traverses. | |
| Special safety device for dismantlingThe special safety device for dismantling avoids that during the discharge of the pallets with the help of a fork-lift the mounted gratings will not be pulled out. |
Furthermore the assembly costs and the assembly time can be reduced since no further fixing equipment is necessary. | |
