Gratings combine a minimum of material input together with a maximum of stability. In this way they combine in the most ideal manner economic efficiency and safety of modern components.

The principle
Vertical, high quality flat steel bearing and cross bars which are solid fixed in a frame can withstand huge loads. The load capacity of a grating is determined by the amount of bearing bars and the dimension of the bearing bars, whereas the cross bars have the function to fix their vertical position and to distribute the load evenly.

Production
Under high pressure, unweakened cross bars are pressed into the shaped bearing bars. The result: high torsion rigidity and firmness. The banding completes the gratings.

The advantages
Gratings are light and firm. Light, air, water, dust and dirt can get through. Depending on the size gratings are suitable for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Used as components and due to the distinguished price-performance ratio gratings are notably economical. Furthermore the erection of gratings is easy and therefore large areas can be covered quite quickly.

Application
Gratings are produced in various types. As adaptable components they can be used nearly unrestricted as
- gangways and planks, different platforms (machinery-, service-, crane- and working platforms), assembly pits
- cable channels, light well coverings, revetments
- façade gratings, intermediate ceilings
- stairtreads, landings
- storage floorings, etc.
