With gratings from GI-RO Technik you acquire a quality product. Gratings from our product range carry the recognized seal of approval and are subject to strict quality controls. All gratings that are manufactured by GI-RO Technik fulfill, depending on their field of application, different German and European standards.

The quality is right

Additionally, GI-RO Technik carries the recognized RAL-GZ 638 mark of quality for gratings. Accordingly, GI-RO Technik gratings fulfill the requirements of the quality and test regulations of the German Institute for quality assurance and certification. The admissible tolerances are specified within the regulations and you can be assured that at GI-RO Technik they will always be reliably observed.

Quality and test regulations

These manufacturing and delivery tolerances are (according to the RAL-GZ 638) to be adhered to for the production of all GI-RO Technik gratings of following specifications.

  • For bearing bars less than than 100 mm x 5 mm.
  • Mesh width of maximum 68 mm and minimum 11 mm.
  • Grating size maximum 2,0 m² where a thickness of not more than 2000 mm is allowed.

Deviation convex

Permissible tolerances for pressure-locked gratings

The distortions occurring due to load tolerances are not included.

Deviation for convex xt max = 1/200 in length for dimensions greater than 600mm, max. 8mm;  dimensions smaller than 600mm; max. 3mm.

Deviation concave

Deviation for concave  ot max. = 1/200 in length for dimensions greater than 600mm, max. 8mm; dimensions smaller than 600mm, max. 3mm.

Deviation convex

Deviation for convex  xq max. = 1/200 in width for dimensions greater than 600mm, max. 8mm; dimensions smaller than 600mm, max. 3mm.

Deviation concave

Deviation for concave  oq max. = 1/200 in width for dimensions greater than 600mm, max. 8mm; dimensions smaller than 600mm, max. 3mm.
