Hasena, Neuenburg am Rhein

The Swiss bedroom furniture manufacturer Hasena has built a new logistics center in Neuenburg am Rhein. The site, located between Freiburg and Basel, brings together previously used warehouses. A new building complex covering around 21,200 square meters and comprising a main warehouse (10,000 square meters), a logistics area (8,900 square meters) and an administration building has been created in Neuchâtel. Furniture retailers throughout Europe have been supplied from Neuchâtel since April 2024. 

The logistics center is equipped with inlaid grating for pallet racking, which is fitted with GI-RO FLEX MESH (flexible mesh division). These offer a particularly narrow crossbar spacing in the edge area, which can not only absorb the point loads of the special load carriers with their feet, but is also cost-efficient.

Hasena is taking a further step towards efficiency and sustainability with this new logistics center. Thanks to the advanced storage technology, the company can optimize its logistics processes and deliver its products to customers worldwide faster and with less use of resources.
