Cladding, suspensions, sun protection

As an airy yet stabilising design element, GI-RO gratings form part of sophisticated architectural real estate projects.

Shelves for heavy-duty racking

Gratings especially designed for racking offer many storage technology advantages. Further to the high load-bearing capacity and light transmittance, racking gratings offer many fire protection advantages thanks to their water permeability.

A grating consists of several parallel bearing bars connected at regular intervals by crossbars. These are then edged with a perimeter border. Depending on the application, gratings can be made of various materials such as steel, stainless steel or aluminium. Steel gratings are usually given a surface finish by means of hot-dip galvanising and are thus provided long-term protection against corrosion.
